Before You Arrive
Arrival & Departure
What time are check-in and checkout?
Check-in is at 4:00 PM, with self check-in available until 10:00 PM. A late arrival is never a problem. Checkout is at 10:00 AM, which gives our cleaners the time they need to have the cabin perfect for the next guests.
Can we check in early?
Sometimes, for a fee, depending on whether the cabin is booked the night before and how the cleaning schedule falls. Ask us once your dates are booked and we will let you know as your stay gets closer.
How does check-in work?
The cabin has a smart lock, so there is no key pickup and no waiting around for anyone. You simply let yourself in when you arrive. Your personalized access details arrive before your stay through your booking platform’s messages and our digital guidebook.
Can we drop our luggage off before check-in?
Yes. There is a locked storage enclosure under the carport with a combination lock, so on arrival day you can drop your bags off and start your trip while our cleaning team finishes getting the cabin ready. We send you the combination before you arrive. It is very safe here, but please do not leave valuables in the enclosure.
Where do we park?
There is free parking for three vehicles, including one covered carport spot, a very nice thing to have on a snowy morning. Two things to know: the carport fits sedans and shorter vehicles, not SUVs, so bring the taller vehicle only if you are happy parking it in the open. And street parking is not allowed anywhere in Sunriver, so please plan on three vehicles at most.

What are the beds and sleeping arrangements?
The cabin sleeps six. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, plus a loft with two twin beds that sleeps two more. The loft is open to the room below behind a safety railing, so it suits kids and easygoing adults rather than anyone who needs a door that closes.
How do the SHARC passes work?
Six SHARC passes are included with every stay at no extra cost, and they are waiting for you at the cabin when you arrive. They get your whole group into the Sunriver aquatic and recreation center: indoor and outdoor pools, the lazy river, water slides, and hot tubs. In summer the SHARC parking lot fills fast, so go early and check hours before you head over.
Is the hot tub really private, and open in winter?
Yes and yes. The hot tub is yours alone for your whole stay, and it runs all year. A snowy soak after a Mt. Bachelor ski day is, in our honest opinion, the best thing Sunriver does.
Are bikes included?
Four bikes come with the cabin, and Sunriver’s 40+ miles of paved bike paths start right outside the door. Bring your own helmets if you have favorites: Oregon requires them for riders under 16, and pedal to the Village, SHARC, or along the Deschutes.
Can I bring my dog?
Please do: dogs are genuinely welcome here, not just tolerated. If your situation is a little unusual (several dogs, a puppy in training, a different animal entirely), just ask us first and we will figure it out together.
What is provided at the cabin?
Everything you would hope for: fresh bed linens and towels, coffee for drip and French press, Zogics Organics toiletries, a fully equipped kitchen with cooking basics, and fast wifi throughout. Pack your clothes and your groceries: the rest is handled.

What is the cancellation policy?
The full cancellation terms are shown clearly at checkout before you pay, and again in your booking confirmation: the policy you see there is exactly the policy that applies to your stay.
What happens after I book?
You get instant confirmation, and before your stay we send our complete digital guidebook: arrival details, house information, and the 39 local places we personally eat, drink, hike, float, and shop. It is everything we would tell a friend coming to visit.
